Ferrar House Quiet Day

On Saturday, 9th May, fourteen people from Trinity Methodist Church in Biggleswade travelled to the beautiful surroundings of Ferrar House, Little Gidding near Huntingdon for the annual Church Quiet Day. Rev. Jim Gorringe led the day, focusing on the Holy Spirit, with spoken input, time for quiet reflection and creativity, and ending with a celebration of Holy Communion.

It was a nourishing day, both spiritually and physically (we were amply and wholesomely fed lunch and tea by the cook and warden of Ferrar House!)

The photographs are of Ferrar House as well as some of the creative pieces which group members produced during the Quiet Day.

We appreciated our first visit to Ferrar House so much, that we have already booked our Quiet Day to take place there on Saturday 14th May 2016.
